Description[?]:
Whereas the nation of Beluzia has many beautiful coasts and clean forests and, Whereas we must do all we can to protect this great nation's environment and, Whereas we must be a morally upstanding government and, Whereas we must protect the animals we harvest for food, Resolved, Article 1 (STRUCK FROM BILL): One car per household with encouraged public transportation and tax incentives. We must only look at what massive amounts of people driving large amounts of cars will do to the air in our country. Smog could easily become rampant in the near future and we must protect our clean air and precious resources for our children and their children. Article 2: Recycling is now mandatory for every citizen. Our sprawling hills and beautiful coastline may soon be degraded by the sight of overflowing landfills. We must begin addressing this problem immediately and reduced the amount of waste we produce. Recycling does not take much time and our industry already does it, so we won't see any issues there. We just wish to reduce the amount of waste the general populace produces. Article 3: The standards for animal welfare in livestock is nationalized. This prevents animal abuses from occurring during our food production in cities with lax standards. All in all, only moderate standards will be enforced that are reasonable and not excessive. This will only help keep our food in a safe, clean environment for safer and more morally righteous production. As the party representing both agriculture and food as well as the environment and tourism, we hope you heed our advice and pass this packet of legislation. Please discuss any changes you would like to see or why you will not be voting with us. |

Message | Only one car per household? That's outrageously unfair. Not all households house the same amount of people. This will greatly affect nuclear families, especially those in rural areas. We will vote against this bill along with all other oppression bills that seek to take away the power of locals. |
Date | 03:15:24, December 20, 2015 CET | From | Party for Practical Progress | To | Debating the Environmental and Food Reforms Packet 2 |
Message | We agree with the Confederates on this one-Articles 1 and 2 seem a bit extreme. |
Date | 07:39:01, December 20, 2015 CET | From | Green Party | To | Debating the Environmental and Food Reforms Packet 2 |
Message | Article 1 is meant to be a correct step towards being able to have only clean, renewable transportation. However, if it aids in passage, we will remove article 1. Article 2, we feel, is necessary to removing the large amount of waste 99 million people produce. Mandatory recycling will not cost anyone any more amount of money, it will just clean up the environment. Article 1 about one car per household will be struck from the bill however we ask that articles 2 and 3 remain. |
Date | 11:10:43, December 20, 2015 CET | From | Fascist party of Beluzia | To | Debating the Environmental and Food Reforms Packet 2 |
Message | The fascist party is strongly against animal welfare measures. We see it as an economic liability for farmers and animal husbandry. |

Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia) |
