Bill: Abolition of the Death Penalty Act

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3955
Description[?]:
Because the current law for the death penalty dictates local government decides whether or not someone is sentenced to death, wildly contrasting policies on the same issue can be found across the country. The death penalty itself is fundamentally wrong. It is wholly immoral and we should ensure that it is never administered. |
