| WHEREAS - The unemployment rate is quite high among Likaton nationals - Many Likaton's may be unable to live off of unfair labour wages - Many employment opportunities are offered to non-Likatons THEREFORE SECTION 1. Short Title I. This Act may be referred to as the "Likaton Fair Employment Act." SECTION 2. Minimum Wage I. Each county of the Republika must hereby enact a minimum wage policy that enacts the following: a. Substantive minimum wage to cover cost of living for a family of four b. Difference in minimum wage between Likaton-nationals and minority groups. SECTION 3. Fair Employment I. Businesses who hire a minority, defined as "non-Likaton," will be faced with: a. A 1% corporate profit tax b. An additional 0.1% corporate profit tax per minority employee c. Maximum corporate profit tax at 3%. |
