Bill: National Security Bill of 3956

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Luthori

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3957

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

In a nuclear age, the government ought to mandate that public buildings provide shelters for our people in the event of a tragic accident. In addition, military service should be obligatory. Not only does it instill values in our people, such as discipline and work ethic, but it also provides military experience. A few years in service is a small price to pay for an improved lifetime.

The Rt Hon. Thomas Buckley MD
Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the PCP

I shall not sustain this bill as i believe that it is not as important as other matters that shall be dealt with, at least for now.
We shall see if these proposals will be adopted another time.

I yield!
