Bill: Nationalization of the Space Industry
Details
Submitted by[?]: Party for Practical Progress
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3960
Description[?]:
Legally, the government is allowed to operate certain businesses or industries. We believe that the government should operate the space industry as a government owned industry would not need to worry about profit margins and could instead focus on making innovative discoveries that might currently be financially irresponsible. |

Message | I believe that this new system is better than the old system due to government oversight restricting the private sector. Turning the private companies into public ones I believe will best help our nation's science and society. |

Date | 05:27:04, December 28, 2015 CET | From | Bailonese Council Communist Party (BCCP) | To | Debating the Nationalization of the Space Industry |
Message | Space technology is responsible for many of the advanced technologies that we have today, especially in advancing the field of physics and engineering. We would prefer that this be allocated to the local governments, but since that is not currently a plausible option, we will vote yes. |
