Bill: The Legislative Deliberation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Yoko Kake Meguppātī
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3959
Description[?]:
Legislators should deliberate and think more carefully when they propose adjustments in Sekowo's laws. With greater procedural emphasis on debate and deliberation, Sekowan lawmakers will make changes more slowly, only when they are needed and will truly benefit the nation. This will mean smaller bills will be carefully considered, and new policies will only be adopted if the legislature truly thinks that they are needed. Wild swings and rash changes which cause chaos and disorder will be mitigated. |
