| Purpose. The Senate finds that the invasion of 3930 resulted in collateral damage to many peaceful and moderate Majatrans. Given the misguidings of High Chancellor Achariya Chann's predecessors, The Senate of the Chann Republic of Kafuristan also finds that an official peace be established between the Chann Government and the Majatran population - as the nation faces threats from abroad and will need many more Majatrans to join in the national defense. To aid in this, the Chann Government has provided reparations as provided in this Act. Displaced families. Displaced Majatran families shall be assisted by the Chann Government to a new home within Kafuristan of their choosing and shall receive government aid in the construction of a home suitable for the family based on the needs and number of children within the family. Displaced families shall also be given priority listing on government food stamps and family aid proceedings. Displaced workers. Displaced workers who do not have families shall be guaranteed a job in military or civil service if they so choose, the pay of which is to exceed a living wage and the benefits of which are to be comprehensive and inclusive of healthcare, dental and eye care, and a robust pension plan. Community Development Grants. Majatrans shall have access to a special well funded source of community development grants for the funding of small business loans, non-profit organization startup costs and early growth expenses, and the construction of religious and philanthropy oriented buildings necessary for the community. Reconstruction. Any Majatran buildings, mosques, temples, etc., which have been damaged as a result of the invasion and the subsequent fighting shall be provided funds for repair upon request and application approval by the Ministry of Infrastructre and Transport. |
