Bill: Fair Wage & Work Act of December 3958

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Workers should be entitled to a full "living wage". Workers deserve at the very minimum enough money to live well above the poverty line because we don't think anybody should be left behind. Equally, we believe the unions and employers should be able to negotiate a reasonable number of working hours. Message | The only problem I have with this legislation is Article 2. I feel that due to local culture, gambling should be legal or illegal based on the views of the local populace. I will be voting against this bill simply due to Article 2 however if that article were to be struck from the legislation, I would happily vote in favor of it. |

Random quote: “The people's war isn't just a war of destruction, it is also a war of construction. We will build new facilities, new hospitals, new farms. We will seek to improve the lives of the people around us. This struggle will be as costly as the struggle against the bourgeois army, and indeed will be even more damaging to the enemy.” - Comrade X, former Hulstrian politician |
