Message | Mr Speaker, A soldier should be able to talk about their families and not have to worry about being removed from the armed forces. A soldiers sexuality doesn't effect their ability to soldier and I think the entire House agrees with that. Sophie Malto, Chairman of the Workers Council |

Message | Mr. Speaker, in these tough times surely as long as the military has enough men to keep our nation and her interests safe, that is most surely the only thing that matters. We must do everything we can to give all sorts of people the same opportunities. When we became party leaders, we said we would do our duty to keep the people independent, surely passing this bill would just be denying the people their rights and disgracing our nation, dragging it back into the last century. |
