Bill: Removal of National and Civilian Service Act 3959
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 3960
Description[?]:
Currently, all adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option. However we believe that it is highly wrong that our government is forcing our people to do this, once they have completed their education we should try and avoid altering their career paths unless they want us too. We should leave the people to their own devices on this matter, to give them the choice in what they do! We propose having no national or citizen service whatsoever, for a start it costs us money to run and as stated previously, it interferes where we are not needed nor wanted. |
