Bill: Local Educational Autonomy and Sekowan History
Details
Submitted by[?]: Yoko Kake Meguppātī
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3963
Description[?]:
"It has come to our attention that, especially in Hokuzan (Nishisan) Province, but also in many localities across the country, many Sekowans are upset that not enough attention is paid in school to recent Sekowan history - to the crimes of the ultra-nationalistic dictatorship, to the Kirlawan exile, to The Returning of Kodos Fairname, to the establishment of Democratic governance, to the Constitutional Reforms which ushered in a new flag, a new national anthem of which all Sekowans can be justly proud, the prosperity that has been brought by Kodonomics, and so on. Accordingly, this legislation would free local schools from the restrictions of the National Curriculum. It would allow schools in Hokuzan (Nishisan), where parents and Yoko Kake Meguppātī supporters are upset about lack of sufficient attention to the role Kodos Fairname has played in making a free modern Sekowo, to devote an entire course to this, with annual field trips to Yagaji Beach." - Education and Culture Minister, Mi Baiyō Inoshishi |
