MessageSadly, I would always oppose a budget increase on the Defence department. This is not the case. Aloria is suffering terrorist attacks almost daily. Our people is dying. I hope this bill passes. We need to be ready. We need our defense improved and sharp.
We will vote for this bill. We will vote for Aloria and its people.

MessageI agree with the above statement from the right honourable member, but our citizens deserve better than cuts to their children's future (education) and well being (health). We will oppose.

MessageI take on board the comments of the IAM, however we do not need to be spending so much on education and health:

'The government leaves development of nurseries to the private sector.' - We do not fund nurseries.

'The government subsidizes tuition only for students from families classified as low-income or poor.' - For those in higher education, we do not subsidise their tuition fees, unless they are classified as low-income or poor.

These are reasons to cut the education budget.

Health;

'The government supplies free pharmaceutical drugs to those on low incomes.' - We do not supply free pharmaceutical drugs to those on higher incomes.

We feel defence spending is too low, and health spending is slightly too high. Because of this, we think the funding should be rebalanced between them. I hope you take our comments on-board..
