Message | I don't think you can completely leave out the RCL, as the people have given them so much support. We should be as democratic as possible... |
Date | 01:16:32, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | Are you sure about that? We think the RCL are dangerous. |
Date | 01:19:41, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | Additionally, we need to strike a balance between concentration of power, and democracy. This includes four parties, which we beleive strikes said balance. |
Date | 01:26:44, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Alorian Communist Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | Dangerous? We have nothing but the interests of the common Alorian at heart. Our party believes capitalists such as yourself are the bigger danger to Aloria, as class division will ultimately lead to strife and warfare. Still, as Aloria is a democratic state we represent your right to stand for parliament and express the views that you ran for election for. Let us remember, democracy and tolerance should be the one thing that unites all of us that sit in this parliament under the peoples mandate to govern. |

Message | Indeed it should, but we should never plunge this nation into the horrors of communism! Every application has not worked, and your reforms, however wanted, will eventually prove to be unwanted in the future. |
Date | 01:40:59, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | Human nature is so: If you can only work for a set amount of gain, then why work hard, or at all? There will still be a supply of food, shelter, and other needs, which are not going to increase, so as long as you do the least that is expected of you, you can get along fine. However, this ultimately leads to an end in supply, forced labour, if it hasn't been implomented, and eventually civil unrest and revolt. When people know the harder they work, the more money they get, which they can spend on goods, or, for instance, better education for their children, they will, and the economy shoudl florish, at least be much, mich better than a communist one. And that is our valid reasoning as to why we view your party as a threat to this great, capitalist, nation, why you have been left out of our cabinet proposal, and why Jon Davis-Clarke has expressed sincere releif your party did not overtake the GSP. Now, please explain why you beleive your reforms are supposedly for the best. |

Message | And I appologise for my atrocious typing, I am actually quite tired. |

Message | I still think we should listen to the people on this one. Including the RCL will not lead to a fully communist country. I want to strike a balance. |

Message | well this cabinet also seems fine to do a good job with the country so i will vote for it. |
Date | 01:58:24, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | The current cabinet allows 5 of the parties in, including the smallest. If the RCL were to be included only three ywould be included, and they would be the three largest, unless you prove otherwise by proposing a fully representational one yourself. |
Date | 01:59:55, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | Whatever happens, I think there is one thing we can agree on, the current one is outdated. |

Message | True. |

Message | I believe what we stand for is right because for a society to last, and for it to be right, it must be socially just. I find it despicable that in the same country that has vast wealth people can die of not enough food or struggle to get by. I believe society should be more equal. Furthermore, I believe money should not be held in front of the citizens of the world like a carrot in front of a donkey to keep them in line, to keep them consuming and lining the pockets of those wealthier. People should work for enjoyment and for the knowledge they are creating a better society. You mentioned working to buy your children a better education - in the RCL's vision of Aloria people will work to improve education for EVERY child, including their own. However, at the end of the day nothing I can say will change your mind and vice versa. We have our ideal's and you have your own. We both must represent the people that voted for our ideals the best - this, I'm sure we can agree, is what this country is based upon. So, for now, the socialists in Aloria have a slight upper hand. But you will always have the right to offer an alternative to the people. I'm also feeling pretty tired so I hope you can comprehend some of that lol. |

Message | I only count 4 here.. There's 4 in mine too.. |
Date | 02:04:10, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Alorian Communist Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | This makes no sense - your talking of representative cabinets, so why should we put the smallest parties in? As far as I am aware, cabinets should be based on parties that share similar ideologies and have over 50% of the vote. How can you talk of 'representative' when you exclude the 2nd most popular party in Aloria? |
Date | 02:07:35, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | I admit, that argument is flawed, and there are 4 parties, as I say I am very tired, and I may have counted a party twice. I support now the new proposal, and am slightly worried about giving the RCL control of the economy, I beleive it will not allow them to carry out the reforms we fear, at least in this term. |
Date | 02:17:24, May 22, 2005 CET | From | Aloria Green Socialist Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of September 2055 |
Message | We will judge the RCL's reforms as they come. As a socialist party, I'm afriad I may often be inclined to agree with the RCL. However, debate is always open.. Bed.... |
