Description[?]:

Seeing that a monarchy is the one of, if not, the oldest form of government. It is also the most evil form of government around. Reason being that in an absolute monarchy, the monarchs doesn't have to answer to anyone but God. Also an absolute monarchy involved the classic notion of claiming to know what's best for the people. In an absolute monarchy, it is also elitist as well. Anyone who disagrees with the religion in a country that has one of these monarchs, gets killed. People who live in this type of country have to live in terror day and night. There is no term limit either, which means that the monarch is there for life. Also slavery was very common in monarchies. While several nations had slavery for a long time, where did they inherit it from? The Monarchists. In a democracy, there is fairness for all, especially in a republican form of government. People have a say in their government. People are voted, not appointed as in a monarchy. Just look at Saridan, and ask the people who live there if they're happy with their absolute monarchy, who causes the people who disagree to live in terror day and night.
The major problem with monarchies, especially strong ones, such as ours, where power is centralized in the position of the monarch, is that the whole system depends on the monarch being competent. If the monarch is not able to adequately handle the challenges facing him, the entire system might fall down.

1. Under this Referendum, we call on the Abolition on the Monarchy and the Installation of a Fully Functional Republic.
2. Once this Referendum has been passed, we shall push for more legislations which will pull Trigunia away from the grip on monarchism.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
