Bill: Income tax proposal of August 3967
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lodamese Social Democratic Party (LSDP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3968
Description[?]:
This taxation proposal abolishes the two lowest tax brackets in favor of two new high income brackets. It drastically lowers taxes for the middle and working class, does so without creating a deficit. We believe it is an equitable, sensible system with numerous advantages over the current one. We urge our colleagues to support this Bill. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are happy that there are now higher income tax brackets, and that the tax burden on low-income citizens has been reduced. We are also happy that the projected revenue is above the current revenue we get from income tax. -- Trevor Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG |
