Message | I do not support this bill. It only represents a third of the populace's desires, and I worry that privatization would lead to an increase in costs for the country's energy consumers. A monopoly of private businesses may feel less beholden to its citizenry, and how can we ensure proper oversight without the direct supervision that a publicly owned utility can offer? |
