MessageMr. Speaker,

Mr. Speaker, we will begin from the top and make our way to the bottom of the proposed legislations.
Mr. Speaker, our party does not support the proposed statement in Article 1, We cannot allow everyone to just jump in and claim their own cabinet. The head of state is the only person who should declare his cabinet.
Article 2: Our Party can agree with this article.
Article 3: Our Party can agree with this article.
Article 4: We feel that Paramilitaries founded by citizens shall not be allowed, We believe that government agencies, such as the State Security Directorate (GBD), the Federal Boarder Guard and several other government law enforcement agencies are somewhat paramilitaries. When our legislations mean that " Paramilitaries are illegal and the recognized government may intervene freely to stop any possible activity." these paramilitaries in question are citizen founded paramilitaries.
Article 5: Our Party agrees with this article
Article 6: I would like to notify this party that there are several highly dangerous gangs within this nation, and it is necessary for police officers to carry at least a handgun when patrolling in said areas. Assault Rifles etc, are necessary for the protection of the officer. In the event of a major issue in said areas, the State Security Directorate is obligated to intervene within 3 hours.
Article 7: This nation is a working nation and one slip up by an industry will cause the entire system to collapse. Secondary Strike will leave the working industry vulnerable to slow-down and even a grinding stop. Our party has stood against secondary strike for many years and we do not intend on changing this policy.
Article 8: All round weed is a bad for you. For gods sake like its a mixture of being drunk out and smoking a pack of cigarettes it demolished the immune system. It causes high blood pressure and an increased risk of heart attacks. A joint a day can decline your life expectancy 10 percent. It stunts the nerve cells growth and blackens your lungs just like cigarettes. Now you probably going to say that could also be used as a pain killer for aids. But then again is it really better than the more common safer legal drugs? You may as well go out and get stone drunk or high on another drug, its not pain relief its blocking it out by clouding your brain with poisonous chemicals. Weed is illegal for a reason its damaging mentally and physically even if you are suffering from aids or depressions got the hold of you its not and escape its a trap aftereffects of smoking it can lead to depression and anxiety all your doing is getting your self into a vicious circle. Don't bring medical reasons into this debate because if anything its destroying your health not saving it.
Article 9: There's one gigantic problem with privatized healthcare, and that is that demand is largely inelastic. If the average price goes down, people don't buy more healthcare, because they don't get sick any more often, and if the average price goes up, even dramatically, people generally don't buy any less healthcare because being sick sucks.
That doesn't produce an incentive for companies to lower prices overall, in fact it encourages companies to raise prices provided they are not significantly higher than the average and they can attract customers other ways.
The other ways they attract customers is basically just that hospitals are natural monopolies. It's really expensive to open and run a hospital, and another company to moving in close enough to compete with an existing hospital has an enormous risk of losing all that investment if they can't immediately undercut the competition. Most companies would choose to avoid that risk, and the healthcare companies would tend to just split up territory between them, each becoming a local monopoly.
The same thing that happens with cable companies would happen with hospitals, and I don't know about you, but I don't want a Comcast clone responsible for keeping me healthy rather than just giving me access to cat pictures.
There's also the fact that people buy health insurance. Healthcare is sort of inevitable, and if something goes wrong your choice can be between paying a lot of money or dying. To hedge their bets, people pool risk together in the form of insurance policies.
However, one side effect of insurance polices is that the true cost of medical procedures doesn't make it through to the actual consumer. The consumer just pays a deductible, and the rest of the covered cost is paid by the insurance company.
This drastically decreases the incentive for healthcare providers to lower prices to keep customers. Customers don't see the true costs, and they don't tailor their decisions accordingly, making the demand even more inelastic. Nobody directly notices the costs because they are spread across everybody with insurance. That's not to say that other options are perfect. But we know what a completely free market approach to healthcare looks like, and there are some serious problems.
Article 10: Our Party can agree with this article.
