Bill: Committee on Party Identity and Branding
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Party of Rutania
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4066
Description[?]:
Why don't we rationalise our branding to make sure voters are able to distinguish between us more easily? I am talking particularly about colours here. There is a particular problem with the use of similar shades of red by my party, the Workers' Union, and the RMP. I chose my particular shade of red in order to distinguish my party from the Workers' Front (as it was then called), but now that they have changed, I would quite like to adopt that brighter shade. Anyway, in general, why don't we try to stick to the following guide: Black: Left Anarchism, Fascism Blue: Conservatism, Nationalism Brown: Fascism Green: Environmentalism. Ahmadism, Ahmadist Democracy Orange: Populism, Hosian Democracy Pink: Social Democracy, Socialism, Purple: Feminism, Monarchism Red: Socialism, Communism, Social Democracy White: Monarchism Yellow: Liberalism Let me know what you think. |

Message | OOC: I think this is an excellent idea and are more than happy to change our party colour according to this. But do we make this change now or wait until there is a vote on it? |

Message | OOC: Are these colors loosely based on the party alignment colors in Victoria 2? It looks similar, but in the most awesome way because I love that game. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
