Bill: Foreign Investment Reform 3971
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3972
Description[?]:
Currently, foreign investors may freely invest in companies. However we believe that this could prove dangerous as over time, this could mean that Luthorian businesses eventually move fully abroad and we have less industry and jobs in the country. However we also acknowledge that some foreign investment is good for Luthorian businesses as it means more investment and perhaps extra trade. For these reasons we propose having the best of both worlds, we propose allowing foreign investors to invest in our companies but only allowed a minority share in the business. |
