The Democratic-Republican Party strongly believes that our local governments should have the power to impose curfews on its citizens in a state of emergency declaration.

If there are large riots, local governments need to have the tools to get those emergencies under control.

I know I am not a legislative officer, but I have the right to point out how ridiculous this is. We are a party that usually stands for states rights, but those are areas where we are decreasing the size of the government as a result. Here, the size of government is expanded, and it's inappropriate to have a curfew system.
