MessageComrade Speaker,

Privatizations make people suffer by depriving them of services that were once had for relatively little and replacing them with ones concerned with profit and not the humans that require said services.

MessageMr Speaker,

We support the motion on airports however we prefer the on public transport to be devolved to local governments, who are better positioned to deal with what is an intensely local issues.

Mr. Speaker,

Profit is like a stick for companies. People will buy the cheapest product that has high quality. So of course, companies will reduce prices and increase quality to get customers. So everyone wins. The government spends less money, the comapnies can make a profit, and the customer gets good service at a cheap price.

We will support the legislation for now, however we will propose legislation to make the public transport issue a matter for local governments to settle.
