| Mr. Speaker, After sustaining an attack on my life and watching my political comrades die before my eyes, I propose that a Committee on Public Safety be formed to prevent further terroristic acts. The Committee should be chaired by a representative from the Head of State, with each party sending one member to the committee. I propose that the committee be given power to control the military and police until Red Army Partisans lay down their arms.
