Bill: Free left-wing nationalist prisoners
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3978
Description[?]:
The ANU has been protesting quite a lot in the past few decades against conservative governemnts. The policy back then was that the police should end a civil assembly if it decides it is endangering public safety. In result of this authoritarian policy many ANU members have ended in prisons for protesting. A big part of the prison population is ANU activists. We would like to free all political prisoners. If this bill passes, the political activists will be freed from prison. |

Message | We don't think the Senedd can actually modify a decision taken by our Judicial System and Institutions. We should, though, demand a retrial, when the new cabinet and the new Minister of Justice takes office. |

Message | ELP, they were not wrongly jailed. They commited terrorist acts. It is extremely worrying that we have parties in the Senedd that will support said acts. |
Date | 21:32:01, February 04, 2016 CET | From | Conservative | To | Debating the Free left-wing nationalist prisoners |
Message | Wolf Spiegler, Minister of Justice, announces that the war criminals have been moved out of the Alorian jurisdiction and have been handed over to an unnamed nation (with whom we have no extradition treaty) as a precautionary measure lest this bill pass. Further information is on a need-to-know basis. |

Message | This bill is null and void as the prisoners are no longer under Alorian jurisdiction. The Alorian government does not have the legal authority to release the prisoners. - CPA |
