Bill: Adoption Equality Act of December 3980

Details

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3981

Description[?]:

It is completely unacceptable that, under current legislation, only heterosexual couples are allowed to adopt. This is quite frankly ridiculous when considering the remarkable progress we've made as a nation in order to ensure equality across the board, and by barring homosexual couples from adopting children of their own we are sending out a very negative message to the international community.

MessageWe are against sodomites, but would prefer adoption policy be handled by locals, since that is not an option, we are obliged to enforce a nationwide policy.

We will vote against this policy to help protect children.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
