| Legislators, As you allready know, there is risk of war in our part of the world, and thus we are faced with a most troublesome situation. The people belonging to the so-called Apostolic Church of the East risks being used as pawns against their own country. One one hand - the Kathuran imperialist threat still looms over Pontesi and Selucia, on another: Hobrazia is seeking to extend its influence to Majatra, treating our continent with war and death if it is not allowed to dictate the sovereign nation of Deltaria's internal affairs. The parishes and belongings of the Pontesian parishes of the Hobrazian Orthodox Church have, since September 3979, already been granted to the original Hosian Church in communion with the Arch-Patrirach in the Empyrean Temple, more commonly known as the Aurorian Patriarchal Church, Patriarchate of the East. Some of these still operate outside of their former structures though, and while that would normally be considered a natural and acceptable use of religious liberty, the political agenda of these forces makes us consider it a threat to that same freedom. We are forced to take drastic action, to preserve and protect the integrity of our nation. All activities related to the Hobrazian Orthodox Church on our soil are hereby declared illegal. No such institutions, or propagation thereof, will be tolerated in the Pontesian Dynastic Commonwealth. Any violation of this prohibition will be considered equal to treason an conspiracy against the state. The Eastern Patriarchate of the Aurorian Patriarchal Church is already sufficient to cover the spiritual needs of faithful Hosians in accordance with the traditions of our ancestors.
