We would like to ask the HSP why they don't agree with the new election? A number of parties have asked for my party to go away etc etc. Would it not be better to put this decision in the people's hands since it is those we serve.

No? How can you say no? We are a democratically elected party that you want to see gone. But you don't think the people should be able to decide that? Only the political elite and unions?

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Moderates have no right to speak ill of political elite and Unions, especially when they wish to gut our education budget and replace it with exorbitant military spending. How is that for elitism?

MessageMr Speaker,

So now they at least admit that they are the political elite who do not stand for the people, they only stand for the unions. We want to bring security to our nation from a possible foreign threat and terrorism. If the unthinkable was to happen then we would have no debates here! There would be no education for our children. It is clear that the HSP would rather dance around with the unions and the political elite instead of letting the people vote. Perhaps he is scared that the people will stand with us?

We've had too many earlier elections these last 10 years. It is extremely undemocratic not to respect the result for the entire period!!!
We haven't even had a party that disbanded.

No brothers and sisters, do democracy a favour and vote no. Elections is a few years away and we don't need this waste of tax payers money.

I yield.

We are being bullied. The majority of the party's here will not respect our opinion and have gone to strike. This has hurt us deeply. That someone would do such things simply for the reason that we have a different opinion. We want to give the power to the voters if they are willing to keep us in Parlament. The unions or the political elite should not decide that!

We would hate to think that the Liberal Alliance was just doing this to cling on to power? It would be a shame to not allow the people to vote simply because of the Liberal Alliance's need to stay in power.

I am trying to sort out this chaos. And we can't have elections every two years.

I yield.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "Public schools are government-established, politician- and bureaucrat-controlled, fully politicized, taxpayer-supported, authoritarian socialist institutions. In fact, the public-school system is one of the purest examples of socialism existing in America." - Thomas L. Johnson
