For a cleaner and greener environmdnt and the safety of our flora and fauna. Regulating who and where pets can be kept will reduce the chances of engaging in their black market sales and mistreatment. The nation would also be able to keep a database of all animals that would make it easy for processes such as vaccination, hence reducing the spread of diseases for example swine flu. Introducing the private sector in waste management will create competition hence more effective services than a single monopoly government service. Regulation would ensure fairplay and safety standards being adhered to. |
