On passing of this bill, the office of the Grand Mufti of the Azahari Emirate is established. The Grand Mufti is appointed by the Emir to serve in this office until resignation or death. The inaugural holder of this office will be Grand Mufti Dr. Mukhtar Zulfiqar Muhammad. This bill also establishes the office of Provincial Mufti, one for each muhafazah in the nation. The Provincial Muftis are appointed by the Grand Mufti and serve until resignation or death. Grand Muftis will be addressed as "Your Eminence", while Provincial Muftis will be recognized as "Your Excellency". Upon passage of this bill, Israism becomes the state religion of the Azahari Emirate and adherence to it as law for all citizens. |
