Bill: Roleplay: WAR

Details

Submitted by[?]: Free Enterprise and Industry Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3998

Description[?]:

OOC: I recieved a message from the Libertarian Party of Rutania asking if we would like to roleplay a war between our two nations. I am for it, but I thought it best to put it up for discussion here before agreeing to anything. Please leave your thoughts here and I will eventually put it to a vote. Here's the message I received:

"OOC:

In an effort to make this game more interesting the democratic labour party and I had a plan that would evoke a war between our two nations. Unfortunately they lost the elections right before the plan was executed. So I'm running it past you now. The end game is war, but for the war starts there already should be some tensions. I and the Democratic Labour party had the idea that 30 soldiers of the federal republic of Beluzia would stray over the border to the state of Delvar, part of the commonwealth of Rutania. My government would refuse to let these soldiers go until the outcome of a investigation, you demanding the immediate release of these soldiers. Do you like this idea and are you willing to play along?

Libertarian Party"

MessageOOC: Just gives us something to do besides vote on the same policies over and over again. We can roleplay debates in parliament over the status of the war, peace treaties, etc.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "We here thank those in Deltaria who put [Zardic spy Mona Rivet] to justice in the most humane way possible. With bullets." - Sergio Rodriguez, former Egelian journalist
