Bill: Restoration of democracy to Baltusia
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3997
Description[?]:
For over thirty years, we have lived under the heel of an unelected absolute monarch, who insultingly uses the title "President" to fool us into thinking we have a say in government. And now, the boot-lickers in the Absolute Monarchist Party would give our despot even more power over us. The time has come to restore Baltusia to her former glory. We must remove these autocratic monarchists from power before it is too late. The National Federalist Party, in its strong support of democracy and Baltusia's cultural heritage, does hereby propose making the office of head of state a democratically elected office once again. |
