Bill: Education: vouchers for all

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2174

Description[?]:

The State paying for education is not contrary to the demands of capitalism, since education can rightly be seen as an advance against future taxes.

As such, and to guarantee the availability of reasonable education, regardless of the ready financial wealth of parents, vouchers should be available to all children, rather than just the ones the State determines as poor.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling
