Bill: Unity Cabinet Reshuffle of May 3998
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Enterprise and Industry Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3999
Description[?]:
Due to Our Movement's hostility to established law, we are proposing a temporary suspension of the Cabinet Apportionment Act of 3982, and proposing a cabinet absent Our Movement. The United Conservative's Party failed to meet the threshold when accounted for, so they are not included in the coalition calculation presented either. Total seats in coalition 638 638/12= 53.17 quota Largest party gets finance and foreign ministry (FEIP) FEIP 168/53.17 = 3.16 BCCP 133/53.17 = 2.5 SLP 119/53.17= 2.24 BPDP 76/53.17= 1.43 DLP 75/53.17= 1.41 RP 67/53.17 = 1.26 FEIP 3 seats (including Finance and Foreign) BCCP 3 seats SLP 2 seats BPDP 1 seat DLP 1 seat OM 1 seat RP 1 seat 1 remaining seat to allocate *The party with the highest remaining quota gets the last seat, which in this case is the BPDP FEIP 0.16 BCCP -.05 SLP 0.24 BPDP 0.43 +1 DLP 0.41 RP 0.26 Final FEIP 3 seats BCCP 3 seats SLP 2 seats BPDP 2 seats DLP 1 seat RP 1 seat |

Message | FEIP, you know what, let's forget about the cabinet. Some parties clearly don't want a cabinet reshuffle. |

Message | We would like to point out to the Republican Party that first of all, Our Movement is going against the law for not following the Cabinet Apportionment Act of 3982 and also, the UCP hasn't been online and hasn't voted on any bills so. |

Message | He did not support the cabinet I fail to see how that is illegal. I understand UCP not getting a seat he hasn't been voting on anything lately but Our Movement not being happy with his cabinet position is not illegal |
