Bill: Extension of Police Powers, February 3999
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Worker's Union (WU)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3999
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, Our police forces are currently crippled in their attempts to deter and to fight crime. Response times are at an all time high since police officers must always be dispatched from their stations rather than during patrols. While it may be an ideologically pure stance for parties such as the Libertarians it has damaging practical effects of the safety of Rutanians, and for this we seek to reinstate the police's powers to patrol public property. Scott Pearson, Chairman of the Worker's Union Representative of Kragusrov |
