Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4001
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker In light of recent events, it is probable that the Nation of Rutania will find itself engaged in a war with neighboring nation Beluzia, so it should be in our best interest to prepare for the upcoming war and to ensure a quick and swift victory for the sake of our nation and its people. We believe these are the proper measures to take in order to secure our nation in victory and we ask you to be urgent in the debate as this is a time of crisis. These can all be changed back when the war is over, this is by no means intended to be permanent. Thank you. Marcus Salzman Representative C.U.- Delvar |

Date | 10:57:51, March 18, 2016 CET | From | The Worker's Union (WU) | To | Debating the Emergency Armament Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, While we agree to all articles aside from those related to landmines and national service we would like to denounce the idea that Rutania will soon be involved in a state of war. This is obvious fear mongering and we are sure both our nations will find a peaceful way to solve the current issues between the two nations. Scott Pearson, Chairman of the Worker's Union Representative of Kragusrov |
Date | 17:29:32, March 19, 2016 CET | From | Great Rutania party | To | Debating the Emergency Armament Act |
Message | Mr speaker, the G.R.P and the people I represent support this. We also believe that in light of recent events with Beluzia these are completely relevant. I would also like to take this opportunity to condemn Beluzia and point out that a war is almost inevitable. Bob Gherkin Representative |
Date | 06:18:16, March 20, 2016 CET | From | Alliance | To | Debating the Emergency Armament Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, It is crucial for these laws to maintain as the law of our land. These restrictions, from the beginning, has been made for wartime, so mutual destruction will be prevented, but not only as a sign of goodwill in our Commonwealth. If we promised to stay peaceful and humane in our combat, the worst time to change positions is the time when our great nation faces imminent war. This is a promise we simply cannot afford to bail. Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
