Message | Mr Speaker, Weakening the peace officers will only serve to strengthen the criminal elements who are well coddled by the leftists and libertarians at the cost of the law abiding Lodamese citizens. It is true that some of the laws need to be reformed but the style and extremism adopted by the anti-police parties is unacceptable and conveys hostility towards the peace officers. Brian Hinn NLA Chairman |
Date | 13:09:12, March 21, 2016 CET | From | Grand Nationalist Fraction | To | Debating the Police Force Responsibilities Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, this proposal means an extra cost for the department of Justice as well as Internal Affairs. Does it benefit anyone? Not in my opinion. At this stage we use the military to perform police duties, thus the Defence department will not gain anything from this change. Police obtaining a warrant to search properties is both expensive and time-consuming. From my point of view, this harms the citizens instead of helping them. Luigi Corason Minister of Internal Affairs |
Date | 18:39:43, March 21, 2016 CET | From | Great National Republican Guard | To | Debating the Police Force Responsibilities Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Brian Hinn speaks of Leftists as a monolith. There are Leftists who support this bill, and others who oppose it. His generalising statements are unnerving. -- Joshua Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Minister of Trade & Industry, Vice President of 2GDR Lodamun |
