Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

| Mr. Speaker, The National Party refuses to remain in a coalition with a party that is incapable of understanding the dangers of communism. That party is the HSP, and they have crossed the line from communist sympathizer to a full blown communist party. We must recognise that Luthori has ratified the Anti-Communist Pact, which clearly states that interference by communists in the internal affairs of nations not only endangers their internal peace and social welfare, but threatens the general peace of the world. Knowing this we cannot continue to be in a coalition with a communist supporting party. Furthermore, Luthori is on the brink of a military conflict with Beityenu, and our current defence minister is a member of the HSP! That's unacceptable. How can we expect this man to have our nation's interest at heart and defend Luthori when the Pact clearly states that communists threaten peace. In conclusion, we feel a cabinet shuffle is in order. The HSP shall be swapped out in favour of the Conservative Right, who have more seats than HSP and have also demonstrated time after time that they are sworn enemies of radical leftist dissidence. | Message | Mr. Speaker, Now is not the time for such divisions. Not to mention that the Defense Minister's role in military affairs is now purely acquisition and logistics. While we understand and fully agree with NPL's hatred towards communist, the HSP is not communist. If so, why would they support any of the imperialistic institutions that make this empire functional? If any party is communist, it is the foolish plebs that comprise the LPU. As you say, we could very well end up in war with be the rebels of Beityenu, but that is an Imperial matter. Not one of the national level. Yes it is true, that Defense is a duel office, but we do not question the HSP's loyalty to the Emperor or the Empire. There are communist in this state, and we only hope the Imperial Defense Ministry's internal security forces can fully squash them out, especially since the Inquisition has failed to be restored. However, the HSP is not one of them. Under their current leadership they have supported time and again the very institutions that we have built to eradicate communism. Save the fight for the real demons in our midst, the LPU!! I yield. |

Your party's reforms have passed because of the Liberals and the Nationals. Without the support of both these parties the reforms would have been overwhelmingly rejected by this Diet.
