Bill: Progressive National Unity Cabinet Reshuffle VI

Details

Submitted by[?]: Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4009

Description[?]:

As parties have disbanded and early elections have been held, we propose the sixth cabinet reshuffle. Instead of being called the Unity Cabinet, we have decided to rename the cabinet to the Progressive National Unity Cabinet, as most parties in this cabinet fit on the left spectrum

Total seats in coalition 586

586/13= 45.07 quota

From now on, largest party gets the Foreign ministry (RP) and the Finance ministry is free for grabs, as we think that all cabinet bills should not follow the guidelines of the Cabinet Apportionment Bill. Also, from this cabinet proposal to future ones, the Cabinet Apportionment Bill will be fully repealed and all political parties are not required to oblige to its terms

*Parties that do not have a quota of .80 or above will not be rounded

RP 217/45.07= 4.81
SLP 142/45.07= 3.15
DLP 137/45.07= 3.03
BPDP 90/45.07= 1.99

RP 5 seats (including Finance and Foreign)
SLP 3 seats
DLP 3 seats
BPDP 2 seats

Final

RP 5 seats
SLP 3 seats
DLP 3 seats
BPDP 2 seats

MessageFrom now on, the DLP will be excluded from further cabinet proposals and cabinet will compose of the RP, SLP, BPDP and OM (OM, we are giving you a seat in cabinet as to resolve all disputes. Please do not ask for the Defence ministry. The largest party must control the Defense ministry)

MessageWhy are you giving OM a seat? A RP-SLP-BPDP alliance would have parliamentary majority.

Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position.
