Voting deadline: February 4011
Description[?]:
Upon passing, Rildanor shall adopt a culture loosely based upon the Canrillaise (French) culture, one that is shared with other Terran nations, such as Kanjor, Lourenne, Alduria, and others. --- Brief History --- Along with the rest of southern Seleya, Rildanor has been overwhelmingly French in language, culture, and ethnicity. Its history is deeply intertwined, specifically, with Kanjor (although not in personal union since Rildanor's breakaway from Canrille) and Lourenne. Although immigration to Rildanor from other countries is permitted, they are subjected to mandatory Canrillaise language and culture learning without depriving their right of ethnicity. --- Cultural Influence --- It can be based on today's French nation, but usually with a popular, symbolic monarchy. --- Character naming --- Generally, French or French-sounding names are preferred and has been the case for centuries. --- Cultural origins --- Rildanor was populated by the expanding southern Seleyan tribes, primarily moving out of Kanjor, who in turn originated in Alduria; and directly from Alduria. Continuous interaction between Kanjoriens and the Rildanoriens resulted in continued close tied culture and shared population intermingly. --- Religious influences --- As with Kanjor, along with other countries, Rildanor is overwhelmingly Theognosian, and forms perhaps the central cradle of supporters and has a population overall influenced by the Theognosian church although a certain percentage of nonbelievers are registered . ================================ --- Ethnicity --- 89% Canrillaise (French, including from Kanjor, Alduria, Lourenne, Saridan minority) 4% Mordusian (English) 3% Saridani (Afrikaner) 2% Istalian (Italian) 1% Indralan (Chinese) 1% Others --- Religion --- 70% Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Catholic Church) 26% None 2% Terran Patriarchal Church (Slavic & Romanian mythology + Russian Orthodox Church) 1% Ahmadism (Islam) 1% Other *** Character naming: http://fantasynamegenerators.com/#realNames Language translations: https://translate.google.co.uk/ *** Game Rules: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6363 Cultural Protocols Index: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6365 |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
