Bill: Government's Policy Regarding Child Benefits
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Green Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4010
Description[?]:
The Social Green Party believes that child benefits should not only be given to families classified as low-income or poor, but they should also give child benefits the large families as well. The effects of having a large family means that the parents need to work harder to provide more food, clothing, etc. Having a large family is hard on parents, and the family as a whole, nut they should not suffer because they want to have a large family. All children, regardless of what situation they are in, require more help to ensure they are not mistreated or mishandled. Having a large family, and being poor on top of that, makes it even harder to survive. Even though we are giving child benefits to families classified as low-income or poor, we should give benefits to large families as well, to make sure no child in our nation is under distress or in trouble. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
