Message | Mr speaker, this is a perfectly reasonable bill we will support. |
Date | 15:03:01, April 09, 2016 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Economic Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, This is the problem with left and right. They are willing to destroy our economy, take away our liberties. The Libertarian Party is the only party that allows our economy to grow and liberty to expand. We deeply disagree with this bill and call on other parties to vote AGAINST this. It's bad enough the leftist parties want to unite let alone that they are being helped by so called "right-wing parties". Kayla Bush, Representative Ardinia, Leader LP |

Message | Article 3 is a clear step backwards. Working hours should be negotiated by the workers themselves. Imagine if a right-wing government is elected to regulate working hours? - R&E |

Message | Mr. Speaker, On the Green Party's point, we would like to address the fact that union powers are still too weak and do not represent all workers, due to it not being compulsory. This article will be returned if the Union Rights Act we will introduce later can be passed. On the Libertarian Party's point, liberty is in fact expanded under our bill. By regulating advertising, the playing field is leveled to the actual quality of the products and services, not how many money you can squeeze into the ads. By breaking up big banks, we reinstate competition in the market which can be more people-centered and community-based. By mandating a daily working hour, we will be able to give time to workers to enrich and learn. All these are liberties, given by government regulation. So would the Libertarians stand with us on choice and liberties. Ed Stewart, Chair of Reform! Rutania |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Liberty cannot be given by government regulation. The fact that government can regulate who can and cannot advertise and what should be forbidden to advertise is a huge violation of freedom. Businesses can suffer under that article. For breaking up big banks, we're now getting one big bank in return for that. Plus their is only competition in your own community not nationwide. The government has a nationwide monopoly on banking as it seems. Working hours should be determined by businesses, they know best how many workers they need and for how long they need them to work a day. The government does not know. This is not freedom, this is despotism. Kayla Bush Representative Ardinia, Leader LP |
