Message | Although this raises the defence budget (which we strongly oppose), it also raises the education and culture bill. This is making politics, this is reaching an agreement, this is how Solentian political parties are moving in only one direction, which is making our country better. The decision of wether voting yes or no here is actually really hard. I'd like to hear what the libertarians have to say, and the USR to explain how this would create a deficit, so that I can make an informed decision. Congratulations to every party in Solentia for trying to work altogether. |

Message | I've put everything into perspective, and I decided to vote no. The rise for defence is 15,000,000,000 SOL while the rise for education is only 5,900,000,000. It is hardly above a third of the defence raise. Besides, defence is ok as it is right now, there is no need to increase the budget right now. The budget cut in head of government is amazing, but the total budget is actually more expensive than it was before due to the defence raise. Maybe if defence and education budgets were raised the same and there was no increase nor decrease in the total budget, we would consider voting a yes, but the jury is still out on that. |
