Message | Mr. Speaker, The LUP can support, wholeheartedly, Articles 2 and 3. Were they to be reintroduced in separate legislation, we would happily endorse the policy change. We are willing to also consider Article 7 after a more indepth analysis. However, the rest of these articles are not only controversial but a major security risk. We live in a dangerous world, and while the LUP can understand "social experiments" in our social policies here in Likatonia, we have a duty to draw the line at any policy which could lead to the deaths of our citizens. We have no choice but to vote Nay on the entirety of the legislation. I Yield. |
Date | 07:19:14, April 15, 2016 CET | From | United Progressive Party | To | Debating the UPP Platform |
Message | Mr Speaker, We understand the political differences of our two parties and rather then remain stubborn we will look forward to introducing passable legislation very soon and debates about how we can have Likatonia a better place. I yield. |
Date | 07:20:19, April 15, 2016 CET | From | United Progressive Party | To | Debating the UPP Platform |
Message | Mr Speaker, To further clarify we mean stubborn as the average rival party would be, not as a insult towards the other party of course I yield. |
