Message | OOC: Shouldn't the president also agree with this cabinet proposal since she chairs the cabinet? |

Message | OOC: The president's party has to support a cabinet in order for it to pass as we discovered last time. To be fair, Libertarians, you scraped the presidential victory this time by a tiny margin and your allies got destroyed in the election. There's no mandate for a right-wing government, the people seem to want a leftist one. As we've had an incomplete government for years now maybe you should consider being more co-operative. |

Message | OOC: That would be betraying my voters. Since I would also give up some vital cabinet positions I'll not even slightly consider to do something like that. |

Message | I think that we should establish a convention by which the President's party may oppose a cabinet proposal, UNLESS it has a majority without their support, upon which they should support it in order to allow a stable government to form. |

Message | If the Libertarian Party choose to block this, I propose that we call a re-run of the election, in which DSPR, Worker's Union, and the Green Party all endorse the R!R candidate. |

Message | In 4012 you also supported the R!R candidate and I still won, so I'm looking forward to do it again. |

Message | The difference is, you only just scraped in against a Green Party with no endorsements this time. |

Message | OOC: DSRP, your constitutional idea is a good one, but it'd have to receive unanimous support. Given the defensive mood the Libertarians are in because their coalition lost I am not sure if they'd support this. Regarding snap elections, I should warn you that from my observations they usually produce an even more difficult result. For some reasons the beneficiaries tend to be the smallest parties (which makes no sense), which wouldn't be helpful. If the consensus is for early elections, I think it'd be foolish to support the R!R candidate given that my candidate almost beat the Libertarian candidate without any endorsements whatsoever. If you don't back my candidate the left wont win the presidency again. The red-green alliance could always just accept the result. The right is weak and defensive, we have a huge majority, if the Libertarians want to bring the government to a stand still so be it. They may occupy posts in government but those posts are useless as they don't have control of the legislature. We can still make laws with clear majorities at present. An early election might not be so good. |

Message | Mr speaker, I must congratulate the left on unfairly deceiving the electorate and forming a government. However a left government is not what this country needs and I will never vote for a left coalition and I will never support a left party in the elections. Micheal Rights Party leader |

Message | Mr Speaker, we go deeper down the rabbit hole ... we now have one of the 'government' parties readily admitting our victory! Surely the Libertarian Party cannot allow this undemocratic circus to go on ... |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Undemocratic is changing your positions to get more votes and then changing them back again when you've allocated enough seats. Trevor Roberts, Deputy leader LP |
