The culture of Kanjor is loosely based upon IRL French culture, referred to in-game as Canrillaise; as such French or French-sounding names can be used for naming characters, while English and German names are also allowed. Also, since a quota has been enforced in the government to ensure diversity, 50% (7) candidates must have non-french names *(see above). Names of Christian origin are also allowed, since Kanjor has very many Aurorians (Christians).

Canrillaise culture is shared by other nations on Terra, mainly Rildanor, Alduria and Lourenne; at various times in history Kanjor has been a part of the Empire de la Canrille together with one, or more, of these countries. Despite decades of state atheism, the majority of the population still owes allegiance to the Aurorian Patriarchal Church, resulting from the unification of the Theognosian and Selucian Churches (meaning that the highest population of Kanjor is Aurorian (Christian) thus there is an abundance of Aurorian (Christian) and Canrillaise (French) citizens along with a small number of Dundorfian (German) citizens.). Kanjor is partially based off of France (Maesica, Viessa, Omasys) and french culture and is partially based upon French Island Territories (Ton-Del, Sillier) such as New Caledonia and Corsica, with a high population of Canrillaise (French) and smaller population of Mordusian, Rutanian and Beluzian (English), Dundorfian (German), Luthorian (English) and Quanzari (Semitic) people. The Island-States of Ton-Del and Sillier are based on French Island Territories whilst the culture and nature of the inland states of Maesica, Viessa and Omasys are more reminiscent of France itself. Thus, the Semitic population is much higher on the Island-States.

With influx of refugees and immigrants from all areas of Terra, the population of Kanjor has become much more diverse, though the Canrillaise population remaining at the highest percentage.

The Private Bank of Kanjor was set up as a bank that was meant to help all citizens of Terra with any financial issues that they had. This bank became a historical entity and trademark for Kanjor and helped increase it’s developmental state. Many other international companies were made in Kanjor, to help increase its developmental standards. Such as the Silver Ant Telecommunications Company and Sharpe Arms & Equipment. This helped extremely to increase the development of Kanjor. Kanjor has signed many friendship treaties to become more developed.

MessageGreetings!

If you've got time, it is worth checking out section 16 of the Game Rules (see http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6363 ). Particularly section 16.5, which reads:

"16.5 As a general convention, players should be able to provide good reasons if they want to significantly change Cultural Protocols which are less than 30 in-game years old. Where the Cultural Protocols are more than 30 in-game years old, then a change to any of the categories by 5% or less will generally be accepted without question. If the changes proposed are between 5 and 10%, then players should be prepared for the possibility of having the changes queried. If the changes proposed are 10% or more, then players should always expect to need to provide strong role-play justification for the changes."

Your proposal to increase Mordusians (English) from 3% to 33% represents a massive increase, and it would require really substantial role-play justification for Moderation to accept that.

Also, bear in mind 16.3:

"16.3 Whilst Cultural Protocols bills may contain information about a nation and suggestions about how to play in it, the parts of the Cultural Protocols which are officially binding are specifically:

- cultural demographics (eg. Luthori/English)
- linguistic demographics (eg. Luthori-speaking/English-speaking)
- religious demographics (e.g. Hosian/Christian)"

In other words, only the cultural, linguistic and religious demographics are protected under the culture rules, not all of the other stuff included in this bill, like the government member title rules, the anthem, the military information and so on.

If you have any questions about this or anything else related to the game, please don't hesitate to ask!
