President-soon-to-be-dictator Hatte,
What is this? What system of government do you propose? Is this tyranny? The people ad no idea what either of our new parties stood for, they plumped, in desperation for an ineffective despot. We demand answers at once!

Mr Speaker,

I would like to take this moment to congratulate all members of this house. We have all done an incredible job and made great contributions to our respective campaigns.

*Hear him, Hear him!*

I would also like to answer any questions relating to this bill which shall be the first flight of the phoenix that is our nation from the ashes of the revolution.

I yield,

Mr. Hattes and members of the old guard behind him,

It is clear that the mist of the previous communist government, which retained many of the old practices, is gone. It's dictatorship, has fallen. In its stead, rises a phoenix, yes; the phoenix of antiquated, inefficient and exclusive-wealth-dominated tyranny.

I ask this gentleman, who claims royalty through vague familial lines, what are his plans for this nation? What are his plans for religion? What are his plans to decrease unemployment? What are his plans for democracy?
Does this man truly care about fixing this broken nation, or is he just trying to cement his own position of power, which breaks all rules of the constitution of the republic.

*The walls reel and rock whilst the House roars with heat and sound. The opposition leader returns to his seat red faced and his peers seem almost prepared to jump over the benches and rush the Crown's party out of the chamber altogether.

Mr Speaker,

I speak on behalf of my brother when I explain that Guillaume has chosen not to part-take in the processions of this house as to demonstrate that, as a potential monarch, he shall remain impartial in matters of politics whereas he shall be incredibly active in matters of the protection and of the people. All matters of governance will occur in this house with elected officials.

My party has so many plans for this nation. We're going to increase religious freedoms that were so viciously removed from the people by the previous government. We're going to fix the economy which was so carelessly wrecked by the previous government. Most importantly, we are going to create a free, just and open society, the very same society that was destroyed by the previous government.

We cannot do this alone, we need the aid of the People's Movement in changing the constitution. We need to fix the deformities left over by the previous government and the best way to start is with the constitution.

I yield.

MessageHattes,

The economy is dead. Unemployment is at 100%. We are not generating any revenue. The tax you have proposed will generate no money because there is no income. How, in the name every god under the sun and every hound in hell, do you plan to rectify this?

*Uproar and applause both follow and it takes leaders on both sides to quell the unrest*

This to us is an extremely pressing issue and we must have the answer now.

OOC Is iit possibly a glitch?

MessageMr Speaker,

The economy is unconscious, we intend to revive it. In proposing the tax reforms, we are preparing for an economic boom, we are preparing for our budget surplus. We know that under our plans, our nation will grow to what it once was, this requires preparation which is exactly what our tax bill relates to.

Would the honourable gentleman vote for the constitutional changes, if not, why?

I yield.

Message*More shouts of protest wail round as Charles rises to speak*

To Hattes and those men behind him, I say this:

We, the two parties of this failing nation, elected by only 20% of the electorate, cannot enact significant political change until the shortfalls of this nation have been fixed. Farona is wasted by unrest and weary of ideologies. We must, for the sake of the people, forget these ideals and declare a National Emergency Congress, we must form a temporary coalition to rectify our lifeless economy and distressed people.

I therefore ask, on behalf of everyone, that we scrap these proposals here today, create the National Emergency Congress, and find a to fix the economy. Only until then, that this nightmare is over, should we discuss constitutional matters.

MessageMr Speaker,

Please understand that we wish to ameliorate the problems of this nation. We seek first, a rebranding. There's no way in this world we can get down to the serious business whilst we still retain the old motto, flag and system. Please remember that we have four years of changes to make, we'd like to start with the simple task of bettering ourselves. There's no need to form a coalition, we received a majority of votes. What we ask for is cooperation for, as it stands, the only thing between this nation and success is your "noe". So why not put aside ideology and vote yes so that we may put this aside and spend the next four years fixing the economy and sorting out this mess. The longer you say "noe" to these changes, the longer the world laughs at us, the longer it takes us to progress. If you have any heart for the people, you'll vote yes. Will you vote yes?

I yield.
