Cultural Protocol of Telamon
______________________________

Cultural Origins: Dorvik, Dundorf and Luthori
RL Influences: Kingdom of Sweden and the United Kingdom.

*
Background: Telamon was settled by the ancient tribe, the Tela, around 478 BC - 583 BC fleeing the onslaught of the Rontin Empire and its conquest of Artania. Archaeologists believe that the tribe of Tela emigrated two times, first from the modern day Dundorf to the modern day Dorvik, and a second time to the continent of Macon/Makon, after being defeated or persecuted by the Rontin Empire. Traditional myth tells of the Great Migration, or Exodus, led by the Tela Chief Adelmar. Telamon was spared from the Luthori colonization, but not from the luthori merchants who settled and influenced the Telamonese culture and language. Today Telamon is a secular country, with a formidable industry and economy, there's currently nine periods of Telamonese history. The Telamonese culture and tradition is rich. There are plenty of sights around and generally speaking, the Telamonese are a proud nation. Telamon is not a nation-state, but the Telamonese people are in great majority. There have not been major confrontations with the minorities, and the Telamonese seem to get along nicely with them. When mentality is concerned, if generalized, it can be compared to the real-world mentality of the English people living in the UK. They like good humor, enjoy sports, have a "stiff upper lip", complain about weather and tend to "sulk" sometimes.

MessageHey guys,

As explained before, Telamon is now a candidate for Culturally Open status, so it is not possible to affirm your Cultural Protocol right now. If you want to argue for Telamon's Cultural Protocol to be preserved, the best way to do that is on the relevant thread on the forum: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6712

I can tell you Telamon's current Cultural Protocol document is not in full compliance with the Game Rules (see http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6363 ). If you wish to preserve your Cultural Protocol, it would be a good idea to come up with a revision of it that complies with the rules.

Regards,

Aquinas
