Bill: Newspaper Name Change and Act of Restoration Edit

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kamikouto

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4025

Description[?]:

OOC: I had done a bit more research into the Ryukyan nobility and found that the title of Aji is only given to cadet members of the royal family, thus no foreigner should get one, so to correct this, those mentioned as receiving the hereditary title of Aji in the Act of Restoration will be recognized as ueekata, or lords with the style of "lord/lordhip". This is a non-hereditary title, more or less recognition.

The name of the national newspaper should be changed to "Sekowo Shinpō (News of Sekowo)"

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
