This bill asks for the ratification of the <a href="viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3338">International Freedom of Expression</a>. If this treaty is ratified, it becomes binding and will define national law. The Neo-Democratic Party believes that one of the fundamental rights of man is the freedom of expression. This expression is the basis for the innovation and ingenuity we see in today's society, and the NDP wants to promote the individual's right to choose how they look and dress. This treaty will help ensure that Terrans worldwide are able to express themselves. |
