Bill: Living Environment for all Beluzians Blueprint
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4027
Description[?]:
Our living environment is what makes our nation so special. Other capitals have their glittering skylines and great national monuments, but not many can match our nation for its variety of parks, commons, woodlands and garden squares. The use of green space is fundamental to our success as a nation. These green spaces attracts many tourists each year, and our tourism revenue has gone up rapidly over the past 5 years. They provide a safe space for families to enjoy, and is the centre of community life. But with our nation growing faster than ever before, our environment is under threat. In a recent survey taken by the Beluzian Energy Commission, only 10 per cent of Beluzia's electricity is powered by the sun. Only 20% of household waste is recycled by people daily. Dirty cars, vans and buses contaminate the air that we breathe in and tourist revenue has gone down because of the rapid increase in fossil fuel powered transportation. As probable incoming Minister of Environment, in our forthcoming Living Environment Blueprint, I will set out how I will clean up Beluzia's air once and for all. |
