| Message | Mr. Speaker, This party would like to see more real erm spending cuts to give the nation a chance to re-organise it's destructive taxation system. However this is not the way to to do it. We will not support a increase in tourism and flower gardens while the President wants to destroy jobs in industry. We also would only consider backing this bill if defence spending was not cut or was increased about 120 billion. Further more stripping the budget of the Governemtn and Head of the Government seems short minded. How can the nations civil-servants work to forfill the wishes of this house when they will struggling to pay for the paper the bills are written on. We believe that environment and tourism shuld be cut to 7 billion along with science and technonlgy to protect the nations industry and the armed forces of this nation. | Message | Mr. Speaker, There is nothing we can do on this taxation plan. We cannot go higher, if we go lower it will cause a massive slump in expenditure, meaning the Tory Party's want for increased Military spending would not be possible. Mr. Montgomery speaks of an "Increase in tourism and flower gardens while the President wants to destroy jobs". I would like to know if Mr. Montgomery knows how much tourism can help a nation's economy is such a massive way. 1. This comes twofold. First you have the money that is spent directly by tourists in the economy. Not just on tourism, but there are a huge range of basic human requirements that need to be purchased, like food, clothing, hairdressing, medical services, and transportation needs that all need to be filled, along with souvenirs and amusements. In its own way, tourism supports global trade, which you can learn more about in this course on the new economy. In addition to what is spent by tourists, the tourism dollars that are earned, by both businesses and individuals is often re-injected into the local economy. So you’ve got more money being earned locally thanks to tourism, which is then spent in the local economy as well. This is why tourism revenues are often referred to as having a multiplier effect, because a large percentage of every tourist dollar earned is reintroduced back into the economy, again and again. This is the multiplier effect. Ultimately, the more tourist dollars coming in, the larger the economic benefit for everyone. 2. How is the President destroying jobs? It was because of the President's National Reconstruction Project, after the war, were people able to get jobs. The President actively pushes the Industrial sector to do more, because their current rate is below average, and he has seen the Industrial Sector reach to peak productivity. 3. Defence spending went down by 10 Billion dollars to accommodate for government expenditure. We have noticed that we are spending too much, for too little. Many Ministries either say a decrease or an increase since we cannot solve the taxation problem (since the game mechanics are messed over, you literally cannot fix it so don't even try). 4. Mr. Montgomery, I would urge you to research before you debate. Clearly you do not have any knowledge of how public servants are paid. Their is a government Directorate known as the Federal Directorate for Personnel Management which is in-charge of paying public servants. That Directorate falls underneath the Ministry of Health and Social Services. After meeting with several Public Servants in a General Public Services Union, they have requested a 4% increase, that is why you see an increase in the budget for the Ministry of health and social services. You can condemn the legislation as much as you want Mr. Montgomery, It is not going to stop the democratic process. | Message | Mr Speaker, Cutting the industry budget will have huge negative impacts on the economy. Yes of course investment in tourism will help the economy, at least it would if thousands of people wouldn't be losing their jobs in the industrial sector. The issue that the Governing party fails to realise is that tourism is a seasonal thing and not something to build an economy on. What this nation needs is factories to allow our highly skilled and educated people to work in, not for our students to look at the prospects their Government is setting them as being better of as belly dancers and barmen We need to build cars, trains, forge steel and iron, build guns. Those forms of production is what drives an economy upwards into new heights. ( a cheer of approval from the Тори партия benches) However the President seems to want the future of our children to be low skilled, low paid, hard hours with little reward, work. This is not a future for our children that we will support. Even more so when the education budget will be slashed under this bill. I ask that the Government reconsider it's approach to this un balancing of the economy. Stop planting roses and start investing in making this nation a industrial power house again. ( A cheer that lasts serval minutes comes from the parties benches) My final point Mr Speaker, is not completely about this insane budget but instead about something the Governing party said. They called this a democratic process. Tell me Mr Speaker how they can call this a democracy when they have lost their majority being pushed down to second places in seat numbers and still refuse to change the Cabinet accordingly. I ask for the President to reshuffle the cabinet to truly represent the wishes of the people of the nation we are all here to serve. | Message | Mr. Speaker, What this nation needs is innovation. Yes we will need the vast factories to becomes less dependent on outside nations. I understand. Firstly, it is not the President who is bringing in these legislations, it is the government, if you want to start blindly pointing hands, point them towards this government. Not only factories can pull a countries economy, Infrastructure and Transport, Health and Social Services, not only Industry can pull the weight of a nation. This opposition cannot complain of a lack of jobs. After the war, this government lowered the unemployment rate by 45% bringing it down to 2% unemployed. Much can be done in a 45 Billion dollar budget, so much can be done, for example a country whose entire budget adds up to about 63 Billion dollars, can do much with so little, because they make good with what they have. We have limited resources, we do not have the vibrant GDP's as some nations, but we do good with what we have. To the Тори партия spending more is good, and let important ministries have the unequal budgets. I would like to personally call you out on your "don't care" attitude towards the environment, I am sure the Environment Minister would be willing to give me a lengthy lecture on the environment. I can bet you haven't noticed how the grass around your home is still green, how you are able to breathe in fresh air, how you can hear the birds stills chirping? Of course not, for you want to cut Environment and Tourism and Science and Technology in half, two key departments of government. I am sure without Science and Technology you wouldn't have your tractors, your guns, nor your cans because the research going into them wouldn't be possible. I will not be willing to reshuffle this government and to step down in-order for a racist to government this nation. I am not going to relinquish my seat for a man who wants to bring ethnic assimilation to this nation. Secondly, the only reason for me to reshuffle this government to bring in your boys is if we form a political coalition, which we are not going to form. The only why you say that, I don't see anyone else here saying that is because your party and the Ultra-Nationalist or should i say Ultra-Racist Party, formed a secret coalition, which was never announced to the Duma.
